I am working on engineering a Chrysler Sebring using a Diesel Generator which is Bio Fuel adapted and uses 1/5 gal. per hour of 5500 Watts. I use 3 pole 240 Volt Motor. Generator is a Kubota Diesel from http://www.nextgenerationpower.com/ we expect 65 MPH for 5 hours to get about 300+ miles per gallon of Bio Diesel. We are using Lead Acid batteries and a marine inverter 12v. to 240v AC. no trunk space but so what. Does anyone have a more effecient motor? 5 Batteries together have 2800 Ah total and at low amp usage can power motor for a long time. Why can't Detroit engineer a better car?
