Because I am aware of the insanity of petroleum-based agriculture, and the untenable dependence our American transportation infrastructure has on oil, I am planning on starting a Iowa Idea Initiative website, with an intitial focus on implementing the farming of hemp here in the Midwest.

It is high time(no pun intended) that our legislators get reasonable on the subject of the prohibition of agricultural hemp. I intend on helping to change the status quo.
